Go Jimmy Go
Friday, August 14 at 6 p.m.

No one in the band is named Jimmy, so where did Jimmy go? Probably to BayFest to watch Go Jimmy Go live on the JN Automotive Stage on Friday, August 14 at 1900. A story of local boys making it big, the band is known for its unique sound combining ska with reggae. They have toured North America, Europe and Asia bring the "island sound known the world around."

Their most notable third record "The Girl with the... Fishbowl Eyes" had local fans raving and sent the boys touring the mainland. They have shared the stage with big names like Dave Matthews, No Doubt, and BayFest Alums Papa Roach, Pepper and Staind. Now they can add Filter to the list. Friday will be a hot show!

Mike Corrado Band
Sunday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Singer and songwriter Mike Corrado is scheduled to perform on the JN Automotive Stage on Saturday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m. If this name sounds familiar, it may be because he's one of MCB Hawaii's very own. As a Marine and Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, Corrado is proud to feature his experiences through his music. His song "On My Watch" takes listeners through a Marine's journey from boot camp to the front lines.

Corrado has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in entertainment and been featured on CNN and in Rolling Stone Magazine. With an eclectic mix between rock, pop and country, the message really stands out in each song. It's a style that soothes the soul.

Ten Feet
Sunday, August 16 at 5 p.m.

In the summer of 1995, on the south shore of Oahu, founding members Andres Delos Santos & Josiah Kekoa played their acoustic guitars and sang songs for the surf crew on the beach at Sand Island. Soon after, original members Ericson Carnate & Nathan Martin were asked to join the group. With the addition of original bass player Jojo Guzman, the formula was complete –' five guys, two feet each...Ten Feet.
With two Billboard chart-topping albums under their belt, several Hawaii Music and Na Hoku Hanohano awards, dozens of tours and hundreds of performances later, in 2004, the band took a break.

In 2005, with new bass player Jon Irei on board, the band returned to the stage and in 2006 was back in the studio for the first time in four years recording new music.
2008 marks 13 years of music for the band and with the release of album number three, Everyday, Ten Feet embarks on a new chapter in their musical voyage. Ten original compositions and five covers, round out Everyday showcasing the smooth island sounds the band is known for. Backed by radio friendly singles like True and their rendition of Jason Mraz s I m Yours, Ten Feet is back on track to the top.

Fiji
Sunday, August 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Born George Brooks Veikoso, Fiji is one of the biggest Polynesian artists of our time. His golden voice and musical blends have launched him on the world stage as a pioneer of the Pacific Island Sound.

A fusion of classic reggae, Hip-Hop, R & B and Jazz set Fiji apart as a performer. His unique style defies the idea of categorizing artists into a single genre of music, giving Fiji widespread appeal and capturing his array of musical influences.

Fiji has successfully captured the beauty and allure of the island life through his music. In 1998, he earned the Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Male Vocalist of the year and Entertainer of the year, solidifying his place among Polynesian fans and introducing his sound to a wider audience of listeners. Embracing the Polynesian style, he has introduced music lovers around the world to his own take on cutting edge island music. This proved to be a factor when his co-production idea called “Island Warriors” was nominated in the final ballot of the Grammy’s reggae category in 2001.
